Remembering someone special
Losing someone special is very difficult. For some people, giving a gift in memory of a loved one is a way to celebrate and honour their life. By helping to support patient care within Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the memory of your loved one provides support for patients now, and in the future.
There are a number of different ways in which you can donate in memory of someone special.
Funeral collection
Organise a funeral collection in lieu of flowers. Arranging a funeral collection is very easy to do. Any Funeral Director will usually arrange the collection on your behalf and will make sure that any donations collected are forwarded to us at the address at the bottom if this page.
Donations can be made to any of our Charity funds. Please let us or the Funeral Director know which fund you wish your donation to go towards so that we can make sure they are allocated accordingly.
Cheques can be made payable to WUTH Charity.
Please remember that we are here to support you every step of the way, so if you have any questions or need any help then please contact us on 0151 482 7788 or email us on wuth.charity@nhs.net.
Tribute fund
Set up an online tribute fund for friends and family to remember and celebrate someone special. A tribute fund is a wonderful way of remembering and celebrating someone special as it allows friends and family to raise funds, as well as share thoughts, photos and memories.
Setting up a tribute page is simple and can be done using JustGiving.
Events in memory
Take part in a challenge event to remember someone special.
Family and friends may wish to take part in an activity, challenge or other event to honour the memory of their loved ones. There are many running, cycling and obstacle course events which you may want to take part in.
Please look at our events page to see the most recent list of events and do get in touch if you would like to take part.
Organise your own fundraising activity
If you would like to organise your own event or fundraising activity to remember your loved one, then do get in touch and we can give you lots of help and support.
Please remember that we’re here to support you every step of the way, so if you need any help, please contact us on 0151 482 7788 or email us on wuth.charity@nhs.net.
